Primary Goal
The mission of the SVAS is to help not only the pets in our community but also the people who own them. Our hearts go out to anyone experiencing difficulty caring for their pets and SVAS has resources available for pet owners during difficult times.
If you are struggling to afford pet food, PLEASE reach out to us. SVAS has a Community Pantry to help you and your furry friend through times of financial hardship. Helping the residents of our community find resources to avoid surrendering their pet to a shelter is an important step in making North Dakota a no-kill state.
We ask that you please consider our Community Pantry before surrendering your pet. To learn more about this program, please call the shelter at (701) 852-6133.
