Leadership with the Souris Valley Animal Shelter said they help about 1,000 animals find a home every year, and this year, even with three months closed due to renovations, roughly 986 animals were helped.

The City of Minot Pound does not take surrenders and we need information about the location the animal was found so we can accurately document that information through dispatch. This could increase the possibility of reuniting the animal with the owner since the ACOs become familiar with some animals in certain areas of Minot.
